Meet Kody Schwartz

I come from a retail background in the outdoor industry.  After 7 years of working the retail floor for a high-end outdoor retailer i was extremely excited to have the opportunity to join the Powers Sales Group as the FEEL THE LOVE coordinator.  I am very passionate about the Outdoor industry and loves helping others find their own love for the outdoors.  When I am not working you can find me Hiking, Traveling, Cycling, Winter Camping, Lounging in a natural hotspring and playing music in the middle of nowhere.

Favorite Adventure: Back in 2017 I spent 3 Months living out of the back of my Subaru that I converted into a sleeper bouncing around National Parks through out Colorado and Utah.

Favorite Hike:  Every hike is a favorite for different reasons some of my most memorable hikes are the Chesler Park/Joint Trail in the Needles District of Canyonlands National park in UTAH,  Angels landing in Zion National Park and Pictured Rocks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Favorite HotSprings:  Mystic Hotsprings in Monroe Utah. It is a private property with campgrounds and old Grateful Dead tour buses converted into sleepers for you to rent out for the night.  Their hot springs sit on the hillside overlooking the quite town of Monroe with old claw footed bathtubs pushed into the hill and filled up by the natural hot springs.  If you go during the month of July you just might be able to attend the Local music festival they put together on their property.  Verde Hot springs in Strawberry Arizona is another amazing hot spring in the middle of nowhere.  The unique thing about the Verde Hot Springs is that it is rumored that Al Capone used the resort that was once built over top of the Springs as a hideout before the building burnt down.  All that is left is the foundation that holds the hot springs pools.

Trips he would like to: I'd like to hike into the Havasupai Falls in Arizona and do some adventuring on Vancouver Island. when it comes to travel its not "if" i will go its "When"

Favorite Gear: My Smartwool baselayers are a must anywhere I go.  I sweat entirely to much and having that High Quality wool against my skin makes all the difference when it comes to being comfortable out on the trail or even around town.
